Vigil for Rabbits and Chickens

Join us on Friday, November 5th to raise awareness to the plight of the rabbit, chicken, and other bird victims who are routinely abused and exploited in the animal agriculture system.

This slaughterhouse is located in rural Ontario and they don’t have fences. We will not be contacting them in advance to inform them of our event (which will remain on the public space of the side of the road) so they are not prepared to block our views with trailers (which they have been known to do in the past). This is why the location isn’t tagged in the event. Please refrain from tagging Abate Packers until after the event.

This is a peaceful demonstration, not a disruption. We will not be stopping trucks or trespassing. If the opportunity to bear witness to the animals presents itself, which we hope for, we will do so peacefully. This event will take place rain or shine, with the exception of thunderstorms.
